ALTIVELO was founded by James Mitri — a former UCI ProTour professional cyclist who competed for six seasons at the highest level of the sport, representing New Zealand at Milan–San Remo, Il Lombardia, and the UCI Road World Championships.
After founding and directing Global 6 professional cycling team from 2020, James created ALTIVELO to bring the professional framework of elite cycling to a small number of private clients — without the compromise of a group tour model.
Every engagement reflects the same standards James applied across six seasons at the top of the sport.
There is no other experience like riding the Tramuntana with someone who has raced at that level. It changes how you see every climb — and every descent after it.
